My good night Tom you must have shares in Costa Coffee. Bowness is a nice place Vanita and I love spending a day there. We do Windermere as well.

It's a cracking day here at the moment wall to wall sunshine.

The wife is at a friends birthday breakfast and then its on to Boundary Mills Colne. I've been given a full day of jobs just in case I get bored.

Good luck to anyone out today. I'm contemplating Stocks tomorrow bank fishing but will read today 's reports before making a final decision.

Just had to buy new door hangers for the greenhouse. One wheel seized up. It is only 30 years old too.

They don't make products to last a lifetime any more Steve.

Years ago I stayed on holiday at Alan Bank. Funnily enough after recent conversations it had a dish washer ( brand new technology then, no one had one) we filled it with fairy liquid(knowing no better) and went to the pub. When we came back the entire kitchen was filled with foam from floor to ceiling. It took us the rest of the week to clean it out!

Chucking it down here, all plans for fishing and walking cancelled!

Back home and someone can claim the mantle; knew I was in for a good day as I walked out on to the decking I stopped for a second and was rewarded with a flash of malachite blue flying up the river we haven't seen the Kingfisher for a year or so ,went to the reservoir and twas rewarded with 2 to the boat in my 1st hour but that was it .

Afternoon guys.
Well done Noel.
It's still exciting seeing that flash of iridescence blue go by. My favourite bird though is the dipper.

Well done Noel it had to happen eventually that you caught.

We've had two heavy showers mid afternoon and nothing since.

I've been working away in my garage making extra shelves for the wife's wardrobes. Methinks she has too much stuff.
