Re: Wye Discussion 2015

You know what is taken to cover WUF's costs from DTs as well as I do, you have already quoted the figures.

The levy/contribution is voluntary paid by owners and based on I don't know what. By...

Re: Wye Discussion 2015

Thank you, SF.

It's up to the recipient, a great many of whom contribute toward the levy to ward WUF's work.

Re: Wye Discussion 2015

Struggling SF, can you put some dates on your figures.

Could yOu also explain your definition of "hot water" or are you referring to the returns of SNR fish?

SB made a comment that DTs via WUF...

Re: Fishing the Monnow

Much the same conditions as week. The main river is looking fantastic, sedges and BWOs will be the dominant hatches. The water is cool and on more overcast days fish are rising throughout but the...

Re: Fishing the Monnow

Yes, this year's HB clock is counting down. Any help from anglers we can get now will make a big difference.

We have been working down the catchment with generally encouraging results. We have...

Lloyd, you've got to give a bit more of a clue than that! We were balsam bashing, following a trail up a trib of a trib on the main river. Just below where this pic was taken was a side stream coming...

Re: Wye Discussion 2015

Could the SNR supporters, who are not politically motivated please remind me what the reasoning is for the experiment and what the original hypothesis was?

Re: Wye Discussion 2015

Re: Wye Discussion 2015

Oh dear, SF so it was a straw man. You made a statement knowingly or unknowingly (even worse) that the effects of the liming work on other streams could be judged by comparing their electro fishing...

Re: Wye Discussion 2015

I hate to see you struggling to understand the point, SF.

Yes, we know that the Dernol is used as a reference stream, where no work has been done and that is because no work, liming or habitat,...

I know that, SF.
Do you know if it needs liming and habitat work or are you going to put that loaded gun down and save that paw?

Re: Wye Discussion 2015

What's the Dernol's pH, SF?

Has it ever had or does it need habitat improvement work, SF?

Or is this another straw man you have just erected?

Can we move...
