Default Map in Lodge

I'd say it's a good bet to start by looking at the Map in the lodge.....it'll give you up to date info as to areas and patterns..

But buzzers and red holo diawls will work on floaters and midge tips

Or Pulling Cat's Whiskers and Black & Green tadpoles on Di-3's and Di-5's (from a boat) or on the floater if from the bank

Area's ...Bog bay......Stone Barn, Stilton point....Sailing Club...are consistant...

Best to ask the bailiffs on the day

Pitsford??

You need Pitsford Pirate fly lines!!!

All teasing aside; I think that so long as you have a decent range of flies and fly lines (floater, inter and sinker) and ask the rangers/bailiffs as to what is working and where, you should do ok.

Mr Edmunds, as above, is a noted top level angler and you would always do well to take note of what he says.

Typically, bailiffs/rangers/fishery managers should generally be able to advise you as to best areas and tactics.

Best of luck and look forward to a report back.

I also believe that many people use 'rutlandgillies' for up-to-date reports.

See below if I have copied this correctly or google it and look at fishery reports for Pitsford.
