Default Sunday report

A bit harder going today due to the best part of the dam being frozen over and a temperature drop of around 6 degrees.

Fish were rising freely all day long and floaters or slow intermediates were the best line. Buzzers and very small dark lures are the best bet, though the bigger residents are hard on the roach fry at the burn mouth.

10 anglers had approx 50 fish with john sweeney returning 8 and dropping 4 or 5 with 2 around the 6Ib mark .

Mr Murphy had 4 for 15Ibs 10oz all on buzzers.
The water will freeze 2nite no doubt so phone before travelling this week.

Thanks

It was hard going today..i only managed 1 fish on a tweezy (thanks Andy) on a fast glass line.
Had to keep chapping the rings to get the ice off..very cold, enjoyed it all the same!

cheers Diarmid.

Have been unable to login for a while. The comp on 28th is probably going to be cancelled due to weather and dam freezing.

I will confirm on boxing day.

cheers
