I think this years fin-clipped fish will be of the multi sea winter variety, may enter the river in the spring, and therefore hang around their rearing pond location (especially below Monmouth) for perhaps 8 months. I wonder if anglers should be especially vigilant this year, to ensure every fin-clipped re-catch, is not recorded more than once, twice, thrice, or perhaps even four times.
