  2. Stenhouse Reservoir Burntisland 31/05/16 C&R. 4 hour session

    Warm cloudless day 14C light east wind water clarity 4 feet .On the water by 10.00 . anchored off the west end bay fishing buzzers,gentle ripple on the water. Banks filled with Goslings . I have a knock on my 3rd cast .We fish buzzers for another hour in the area and drift over to the Hawthorn tree on the south shore. We can see the odd fish turning over close in .   3. Linlithgow Loch 25/05/16 evening session

    Cool temp 12c turning to cold later east wind water clarity 6 feet It warmed slightly when the wind died down but not for long. We anchored 20 yards past the 1st orange buoy And my partner Ian hit a fish straight away had it on for 5 secs and off an hour later I got a nice one at 3lb on a dhial bach (Green and black)a long evening I had 4 follows and 2 knocks before hitting my 2nd on the same fly bringing my combined weight up to 5lbs Ian did not touch another fish all evening until 20 mins before ...

  4. Linkithgow Loch day session 24/05/16

    Temp 13C east wind blowing water clarity 6 feet Took the boat out just past the 1st buoy and anchored boat behind us into a fish and another boat lost one most boats fishing buzzers but some were on lures My partner hits a nice one at 3lb on a red buzzer.......it takes me another hour and a half to hit a small 2lbr we are not seeing fish on the top we take the boat over to the front of the island and anchor for an hour decide to move and find we cannot lift the anchor after a half hour struggle ...

  5. Loganlea 19/05/16(B.P.Angling Club Outings)

    The weather wasn't too bad today,a wee bit overcast and not much of a wind.(on the bank!)
    There were only 6 of us today and we all set off hoping for another good day on one of our favourite waters.Jim and Greig went to the shallower water at the West end of the reservoir where Jim had the most action of us all,fishing a midge tip line, straight lining buzzers for 4,diawl bach and cormorant accounting for another 5
    Greig fishing along with Jim didn't have as much success though ...
