Steady..you could start a new branch of fly fishing that avoids paying rod licences, Tenkara would be sooo yesterday with all that equipment to carry

If it ever took off, I think it wouldn't be long before the powers that be closed that loophole with a new fishing line licence, for half the price of the rod licence of course.

30 years ago there was a certain MrAnderson who appeared at many Scottish gamefairs casting with a kilt pin. It never caught on - we'd all bought into the new fangled sage rods and became tackle obsessed.
