Bradford City AA is running its first ever Trout Fly-fishing Competition on 4 June 2016, on its Gargrave fishery on the River Aire. The competition is open to BCAA members and any non-members who wish to enter can do so as a guest of the Committee. This also offers the rare opportunity for non-members to experience BCAA’s premier flyfishing water.

There will be a £5 entry fee with £2 of each fee being donated to the Wild Trout Trust. Fishing will be catch and release, with anglers paired up and fishing in sight of their partner, to confirm catches.

This event is being held more for fun than as a serious competition, but there will be the kudos of winning and a prize of a Snowbee fly line for the top rod.
