Default FMFF Anglia Odds and Sods Eliminator

Well done to the following especially Martin Introna who stuck with the better fish accross the mouth of Savages.

Here are the top 10 all with 8 fish & time bonus

    1. M Introna 25lb -1.5oz
    2.Phil Longstaff 23lb 6oz
    3.Martin Watson 21lb 3oz
    4.Tom Davis 20lb 14oz
    5.Frank Sumnal 20lb 3oz
    6. Mark Haycock 19lb 6oz
    7.Ashley Davis 19lb 4oz
    8. Phil Dixon 19lb 3oz
    9. Iain Barr 18lb 14oz
    10. Andy Taylor 18lb 13oz

and if "Captain" sees this I would be really interested as to what sort of dries or nymphs worked , I could only catch on claret Shipmans unfortunately I straightened a few hooks and only finished with 3.

Well done Phil, rapidly becoming a superstar, and Martin - should we say "there's life in the old dog yet" or "form is temporary, class is permanent" - who knows but congratulations to both of you

Well done to all who qualified!

Great too see another Pirate in the National final.

Same old story of what might have been from me, 5 fish for 17lb, three of them at 4.5lb each.

    Doh!

    The Pirate.

    Congratulations to Martin, good angling.

I thoroughly enjoyed my day on the dries...........nothing better than to see 4lb + fish supping down your fly. Trouble is, i bet it's a long time before i get the chance to do it again. They aint up like that often.

Well done to all those that qualified from what was a class field of anglers. Great to hear that it was won on the 'dries' and on better quality fish from savages. The very best of luck and tight lines to you all at the Final down at Chew.
