Did 20 something with Lisandro last time I was there, but was blind fishing, bit like chuck and pull in a trout fishery! I was knackered by the end of the session!
However, is stil a rush when one takes and goes!
You might want to try wandering on your own some, a bit more Stewart, I get more satisfaction with one fish on my own, than multiples with guides.
However, Timmy has summed it up well!
The Usain Bolt of the fly fishing world!
Every fly fisher should try it at least once!
Having said that, try getting them to put you on permit only, when you go back, as well as taking out a blue water boat from guillermo marina, is worth the money if they can get you into the fish.

regards
bert

Yes Bert i like the spinning and popping from the shore and boat, i could easily also spend my whole holiday on the flat at the end of the beach ,as you say everyone from there is a bonus .Every fly fisher once in their life should try to catch a bonefish, as you say the speed and power pound for pound is something to be believed.Pity they dont go to twenty or thirty pounds ,we would need very large reels lol Have a good one guys.

Another great trip report. As I get jealous from reading Timmy's Mullet articles, you can imagine what this one did to me!

I had been thinking of posting a report of my tales of derring-do amongst the Pollack and Coalfish of Assynt back in August. I might not bother now . . .

Great report. I take it that you now have the bug.
It is a very expensive habit to feed.
