Is Alex back in the game now? When I went in May 2016 year the poor guy was waiting for an op for a potentially fatal aneurism! Great bloke to fish with so I'd definitely try and get out with him in May if he's back fit.

Excellent news about Alex! I'll drop him a line - assume it's still the 'mytarponfish' email address?

If you can see me from Mexico, Col, I pay homage to your fish spotting skills!

Would say this is the best report + pictures that I have read/seen on the fly forum
Been now to Cayo coco 4 times

Sorry to say but think where " timmy mullet " went looks 10 times better than out with the Crazy Gang !

if I go back think the extra dosh for fishing the other side will be well worth it

All a question of cashflow This will be my 7th trip to Guillermo and as a holiday for the wife & I whilst allowing me to catch bones, snapper, boxfish 'cuda etc within 10 mins walk of my room, I gotta say it's hard to beat in terms of value for money (and keeping mrs.polite happy!). A few extra quid gets you out on flats that are as good as anywhere on their day. Not as flash or luxurious as a bespoke fishing lodge it's true, but I can go for 6 weeks for the same money as a week elsewhere and not get divorced over it hahaha!
