I used the rio intermediate and hooked them in a few places ,i reckon it was better than the floater as sometimes they can be lying in the deep channels. It doesn't sink at too fast a speed

Thanks for that so an intermediate line is better what about the lagoon near the boat jetty

Is your 10wt going to be rigged for tarpon ? If so I would you have the flats covered ,I would then rig the 12wt with a fast sink integrated head line something like the deepwater express which is what you want for the channels and blue hole.

Im no expert but that would be my prefered outfits , intermediates are versitile lines but I find a floater far better on the flats, an intermediate is hard to see and hopeless to recast at moving fish. The sinker would be preferable for deep laying fish as Ive mentioned.

I prefer the sinkers with 30ft fast sink head and intermediate running line , I use cortland quick descent and SA deepwater express but these seem to have been renamed , the SA one is pricey and probably hard to find over here-

Airflo do a similar line which Im sure will be good-

Again Im no expert , this is just based on my observations over there and quizzing some regulars who target Tarpon over there.
