Thanks for the heads up Arkle, this is most definitely not good.
Even though I live in France I cherish the Welsh waters I fish every year.
What do we do ?
I am unsure as to how to respond, is there a petition, a letter to write and to whom ?
Help please.

Yes, I do heartily repent. I repent I had not done more mischief; and that we did not cut the throats of them that took us, and I am extremely sorry that you aren't hanged as well as we.

All instructions on how to respond to the consultation appear to be included in that Gwent angling society article linked above! I'm responding now!

Twenty minutes of my time and my objections to open access to watercraft on Welsh rivers have been clearly outlined and forwarded to Kirsty Williams AM, I wait with baited breath for a reply

Is it possible to create a list of forum members who've taken the time to respond?
