Took a boat out yesterday afternoon, weather started okay but turned cold and rainy later.
4 fish to the boat on a variety of flies, plenty of pulls but the fish were coming short for some reason.
Washing line with Booby point fly and a couple of buzzer or Diawl Bac droppers is the recommended method. You can catch with same set up but pulling reasonably quickly too.
Bank anglers fared okay, most had a fish or two but the fish seem to be holding between 30 and 100 yards from the bank, drifts into the middle of the res' proved unfruitful.
If you like to anchor up, anchor 50 yards from the bank.
