    I didn't notice that Stercorea is finished in june, so Tesselata would be right, we watched them predating on small upwings at a lochan one evening, easker1

    Sutherland is just heaving with wildlife if you keep your eyes open, in fact some are very friendly

    Everywhere you look theres something to see

    Saw hundreds of these very large oak eggar moth caterpillars

    That last one is a Green Tiger Beetle (Cicindela campestris) . Nasty looking close up, but beautiful colours

    Col,
    I did a double take at that photo of Jimmy in the boat. I thought the rod behind him had been set up with a bubble float in lieu of a dapping wind
