Default 1 rod on River Test, Sat 25 May - going cheap

    Hello folks.

Due to breaking my ankle last week, I am no longer able to take up the rod I had booked on the Nursling Mill beat of the River Test this Saturday 25 May. Gutted is not the word.

I booked it through Upstream Dry Fly and you can read about the stretch here:

    Upstream Dry Fly Fishing

Prolific mayfly hatches, some big brownies and 2.5 miles of water. Any takers for 170?

    Simon.

If it is for the "trout beat" - from Nursling mill upstream to the motorway - it is just over half a mile in length. I fished at Nursling on the little river stretch for salmon and sea trout about ten years ago and it was in my opinion the best beat on the chalkstreams. Sadly it isn't now.
Hope your ankle heals quickly Simon
