Question Nigel J Edmondson

Hi all, an aquaintance has asked me if anyone has heard of the above fly tyer. He lived in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the 1980s. I know he tied fully dressed salmon flies because my aquaintance has a framed 'Jock Scott' showing all the stages of tying and a painting of the same on the reverse side.
Any information would be gratefully received
Cheers

Found this is an article in the American Fly fishing museum magazine 1997 Vol 23

"In 1981, Trout and Salmon published a letter by Nigel J Edmondson , a British professional fly tyer. Edmondson wrote that he got an order from a client to tie a salmon fly named the Delfur Fancy. He did not have the pattern for this dressing and asked if any reader could help him. "

So now all you need to do is find someone with the 1981 volume of T and S....Oh hang on, that might be me. They are up in the loft so I'll look later in the week and see what I can find.

Cheers

thanks for your help Chris, no hurry though.
I'll bet you thought in the past "what's the point of keeping all these old magazines?"
Well now you know!

Couldn't find the damn thing, found almost every other year, there may be a couple of bound volumes somewhere else in the house but they are yet to be discovered.

Sorry can't be more help
