Fortune favours the brave or is that foolish, bit cold and windy today, the sleet we had yesterday put the river up so it was off to Westlowmere again, a bit later getting it together so it was lunchtime before I got there, started on a Di3 as the inter I used last week didnt always sink properly and was getting a bow in the line, a slower start this week and it was an hour or so before getting my first to a black and green baby snake, a couple of bumps and a lost one before getting another, this time to a cats snake, 10 inches long, then it was a case of switching fairly regularly as Id get a take on a fly then nothing, put something different on resulted in a take or fish, ended on 7 to the net with 3 lost so not a bad few hours, I need some better foot ware as wellies are not that warm, especially if you have to stand in the water.

I have 10" snakes but they have never done much. I have them in different colours and used them mainly on Ladybower.

Well done SteveB fortune does favour the brave.
