Still dopey but wife says she can't notice any difference. My car was in for MOT today, I didn't take it, and yes it did pass, amazing.

    Late afternoon, early evening guys.
Had a busy day, out buying a new vacuum cleaner with Mrs face. She needed to try before she buys, just as well as the one she wanted she couldn't handle. That was the morning gone. This afternoon I've been at the brother in laws doing some concrete posts, also managed to get my hair mowed.

Hard hat Alban, just as long as you're okay. I remember my boss using glue to stitch a head wound, she stuck her rubber glove to the wound aswell.

Tried some my luck for Perch today. Took an ultra light baitcaster set up and decided on a method. Ned rig. Would you know hooked a BIG pike. Gave me a right merry dance which ended a sad dance as my light braid rubbed on something and parted.
That was my only take so yep I blanked.

    Swan on it's nest already.

I know it's not quite the same Steve but I have a Blackbird nesting in Goose Foot ivy in my back garden. Mrs BK has a bird table nearby with a variety of bird food on offer. The BB loves this on tap food supply..

Steve, the fishing day is never a failure when you're out in the beautiful countryside and fishing.

My grandson Stevie who used to come with me fishing came to see me yesterday. He is ex army and a strapping 6' 4" lad. He wanted all his fishing tackle which I have been looking after for a number of years. The seeds I sowed so many years ago have borne fruit and he is likely to be a lifelong fisherman. I used to take him on the Lower Ogden when I was secretary there.

My grandson Elliott is wrapped up in family life. His partner has two children and a house and Elliott moved in. Fishing is on the back burner though he may well fish in the Fire and Rescue Open on Stocks in April. My grandson Aaron will be partnering me in this competition. My last fishing grandson Dan has his own house and a live in partner. We haven't fished together for a good number of years.

    Morning guys.
Hoping not to be as busy today but still have jobs to do.
It would be a good fishing day, over cast and not much wind. Rivers still running too high but stillwaters should be very fishable. No plans at all on any fishing trips soon, not like me!

I was going to visit Dad today but to late for an appointment he is already out.

No fishing for the rest of the week. Got a small decorating job to do.

May try bansfold next week for a change of scenery. River too high.

Although looking at the forecast the river could be a good bet.

    Morning all
It's my second day banned from driving and I've allsorts of places I need to go. My wife is out today dining with snobby relatives. She came down in a suit and looked awkward I suggested she change into casual clothes she wears all the time.

I've replaced the touch catch on the loft access panel it cost 1.75 I never want to be hit on the head with it ever again.

The weather forecast for Sunday on Stocks could be better. "20% rain is forecast and 20mph winds. O er.
