If my car keeps going I'll keep it. No way can I afford a hybrid. I'll be looking at a good secondhand Kia. Had enough with Honda.

I have just changed my car for a VW Passat estate funny how the Superb Se L executive is the spitting image of a VW Passat with a Skoda badge.
Saying that the Skoda and the Passat look remarkably like the Audi A4 !!!

SteveN, there will be quite a few second hand/used hybrids coming on the market as fixed term lease/rent type deals come to an end.

    Morning Lads
It's a dull morning here no sunshine.

I joined a local historical society last week and today will be my second visit to the group. It's amazing how little I knew about my town's local history and notable persons in it. A Great Harwood woman, who worked in the mills, was the fist working class woman to write a book of poetry. She went on to politics, wrote about twenty books, and published her own newspaper. She was called Ethel Carnie. Her surname is the same as the maiden name of my paternal grandmother.

    Morning guys.
    Grey and breezy, no plans.
Tied a few hatching midge pattern parachute style on curved hooks yesterday, might do some more but on straight hooks today.

Historical Societies, I thought they were all in the past Alban!

More of a hysterical society man myself

Grey cool and breezy over this way, tomorrow is supposed to be less breezy, rivers still a bit too high so might venture over to Errwood, I'll see whats happening in the morning.

Over at the static and as usual we have a gale blowing through the dale.
Fishing tackle for the bank brought over just needs to be put away and my leaky waders to repair by re installing the studs after cutting them shorter and applying rubber seal to the thread hopefully this will work if not it will be a new set of waders with my JN vouchers.
