We were kicked out of the house by the selling agent apparently the house sells better without the owners present. The feedback upon return was-
    No 1 Loved it

    No 2 No comment

    No 3 Too small

The agent is expecting No 1 to contact him.
It was a bit strange not being there to watch the proceedings.

This year despite attending fly tying classes all winter I’ve only had the vice out once. Mostly because I’ve also been fishing so few times, I’ve lost very few flies, but also because it’s such a faff getting all the tools and materials out and setting up at the kitchen table then cleaning all away and hoovering!

So after rearranging the back bedroom I’ve finally persuaded Sue we’re not using It enough, so I’ve sent off for a bureau type desk. Once it arrives a semi permanent fly tying station will be set up! RESULT!!!!!!!!!!!

So do I Steve it is torture having to be on show all the time. Mrs BK is on a cleaning cycle twice a day. The house is so clean it is totally unrealistic and doesn't feel like home.

    Morning all
It's wet and windy here and very unpleasant. It's times like this I'm grateful I don't have a dog to walk. I miss him terribly though. His new owner sent us a video last weekend of Bobby playing and running about on a sea shore. The new owner has small black poodle cross and Bobby and this dog have become good friends. It is nice to see that he has settled in to a good home.

I've been with Vanita to the Warfarin Clinic at 8.30am so I feel like I have been up half a day.
I have chiropody at lunch time and a keep fit class this afternoon. I try to look after this tired old body.
Mark, I forgot to mention your fly tying station. It looks very neat and tidy.

    Morning guys.
Well done with essox yesterday SteveN.
Well worth having your own tying area Earl.
What is it with people and houses? I think they are too influenced by TV advertisements and how celebrities live. If they want large executive houses, then pay the prices. You then get others who just want a house as a business venture to make a huge profit, usually at the sellers expense.
At least your estate agent is getting people in Alban, it's what you pay them for. Fingers cross you get a buyer soon.

Was out in the river yesterday, air temp felt a bit nippy in the breeze and not as much fly life as Saturday. Fishing was slow in the morning, I managed 7 but only small ones, 2 to the dry but I lost me eye. Missed too many offers and lost a few fish. My mate 10lb 10oz hadn't done any better, he had 4. Afternoon fished better, I also fished better and started getting bigger fish, most falling to the nymph. I managed 18. 10lb 10oz also did better managing to just get into double figures, he took 3 fish on a suspender CDC/shuttlecock buzzer. I had one good fish that appeared to have a triangular shape lump taken out of it's back, I could see it's back bone. The edge of this cut also looked quite neat/straight edged. No other marks. It put up a good account and swam away strongly when released.
I have a wife and daughter. I'm always wrong and outnumbered. Hidden Content

    Another good tally Ged.
Surprising what injuries fish can survive with.

    Off to Penrith possibly

Well done again Ged you make river fishing sound easy and it's not.
Steve if you're in JN you don't need any more fishing tackle or tying materials in fact you probably have a better selection than the shop. I'm only joking you can never have enough fishing tackle or fly tying materials.

Only once did I leave JN without buying anything Mrs Bk had raided the country wear department and I thought we had spent sufficient. If I go in on my own I invariably find half a dozen items I need or do I?
