Morning Lads
I'm off to Barnsfold with the NWN I hope to be set up by 8.45 it's still too late the fish will have moved out to avoid the anglers.

Are you still going to Lowther Ged?

Looks like a good day for fishing tight lines all.

Afternoon Lads
I'm back from a very sunny hot Barnsfold. The picture this morning when I arrived was becalmed water with an occasional ripple patch here and there. I set up with a team of three buzzers and another rod with a washing line.

There had been a competition on on Saturday with British Float Tube members and our own Lancsy Lad Mark Clayton won with the heaviest bag of six. Mark was back just to prove it wasn't a fluke. There was a flotilla of tubes today and one boat out.

Around 10am I caught my first fish. It took a standard black buzzer with orange cheeks. It fought like a tiger and I guessed it must be a heavyweight. It wasn't just a very angry 2.5 pound fish.

The float tubers did exceptionally well and I watched Mark get up to double figures. The rest of my day was uneventful with various methods failing to attract fish. I knew where I should be but needed a boat or tube to get there. I enjoyed the sunny day and managed a slight suntan.

Tubers rule Alban. It's the way of things.

In contrast, here's a picture of my office at dawn this morning and the stuff (Serrana) we set out to catch on the boat, about four kilometres south of the island.....

Well done on not blanking Alban.

Just done an eleven hour fence painting stint. I am now a tad tired. Needed to get it done before the rain tomorrow.

Just get it soon I hope have a frog to tease the pike with.

Rich

The amount of effort you put into tackle testing must be exhausting i do not know how you do it.

Must be a candidate for an OBE in the next honours list, you get one for being a Cameron hairdresser.
So SKB tackle testing must be more highly rated than that.

Keep up the HARD work for the benefit of fishing

Unless it has access to the afterlife I severely doubt it Alban. Tonight it's in the Menorcan fish soup with rice (and mullet sections) along with a few of its mates.
