Wool shop shut and market shut so no wig making today.

Found another use for the hair straighteners though. Make crinkled fibres straight. I do not have to buy extra fibres now so more money I for other stuff. Good spinning brushes.

What is more scary is that Joan said if I pop my clogs she would have to get a skip for all my tying gear.. .

I'd be seriously worried Steve make a will leaving your tying gear to a worthy recipient. Come to think of it I'd do the same with your tackle. I'd be willing to make a shrine to your memory in my attic but would need your gear to set the scene.

There's been another kodi version update Noel. Also I believe more and more countries have passed legislation making streaming to kodi illegal. I saw a news report the other day after the final episode of the latest series of game of thrones stating that the number of people watched it on kodi illegally was in the tens of billions compared to the number watching it legally only being in the tens of millions! It went on to say that legal action had been taken against many of the people streaming to kodi closing them down.

After you advised of the changes last time, although I managed to update my kodi version, I could not update the tt build as it had been closed. I just loaded exodus to TVs add ons and watch through that. Not as pretty as a build but still works well apart from the odd film. If a film comes up as no kodi version just give it a couple of weeks and there's usually loads by then!

If Kodi is illegal as are a number of these freevue type systems why are the police not doing something about them. There must be millions in lost venue involve here.

Having done loads of research, watching or owning a Kodi box is not illegal.

The grey area is it having the capability to watch pirated programs/films. It is now mostly illegal in most countries for people to stream pirated films to Kodi. Anyone with a kodi box can go online and downloads software programs enabling them to watch these steamed pirated films. Mine came preloaded with this software although I have now altered it somewhat. I believe it is now illegal to sell them preloaded. Watching pirated films on them is now also a gray area, depending on various laws in various countries. The authorities are not after people like me who watch the occasional film ( although they'd rather I didn't) but the people streaming them to kodi, after all if they stop them I'll have nothing to watch. I bought mine from Tesco so how illegal can it be?

Morning Lads

It dry here at the moment and a bit of sunshine.

I'm going to Chorley at lunch time with the wife she is going to Senexus on drugs trials for her arthritis.

I guess after all the rain we've had the rivers will still be up. Good luck if your out angling somewhere.

Earl my friend Jim caught a salmon on a Flamethrower double size 8 hook. This a popular fly that Jim does well with.

Morning guys.
Bit chilly but sunshine this morning, though showers forecast for later.
Hope Vanita can get some success from the trials Alban.
Another tying day, hoping next week will be a fishing week.

Thanks Ged she is getting desperate for some relief from pain when walking.

I'm hoping to tie some olive damsel fly nymphs. A friend came to see me before my holiday break and asked me to tie some for him. Apparently I tied his last lot when the supplier shut down. It's about eight years ago and he had just used the last one. I don't generally tie for other people but he had me tying chicken leg SB's and a special design of Daddy all which were no longer available as Ken Varey of Clitheroe had shut down the fishing tackle department.

I need to tie some replacements for the casualties of Sunday's successful fishing.
