It's dry here Steve but with a thin wind. Just been out with the hound.

I've nothing planned today I'd better think of something before I get saddled with jobs.

Just found out the D-in L is coming with our two year old granddaughter. Help

Evening guys.
Back from the river. Very low and clear and not much doing or showing. thought it might another day like last week. Fortunately things picked up a little after lunch. Nothing special but it started with the odd large dark olive showing, all 3 of them. I did see one fish top just before I packed up to come home. However, I did eventually managed 4 grayling be them small with best going 8 inch, all to my grey nymph on point. All from different spots though, no shoaling as yet.

Better than Mike and I managed Ged , showed him a bit of river that had produced for me in the past, the water was very clear but a reasonable level so I was hopeful of a fish or two, unfortunately that was it, we both just had the one each nice to be on a river again but would have liked a bit more action, I think with the levels coming down slowly over the past couple of weeks didnít help, could have done with a bit more up and down to get a bit of colour in it.

At least you all caught so well done both of you.

I am out tomorrow. Not Grayling though. I have been informed there are a few grayling in my river. Seems I need to learn the french nymphing techniques.
