Default What are the Lancsy Lads Up to Next?

Hi Readers

After another successful meet at Barnsfold on 25th October 2011 the Lancsy Lads will be fishing but it will be next year before there is another meet. If you want to follow what they get up to on a day by day basis follow this thread.

How about dumping Alban in a wheelbarrow, wheeling him down the causeway at Barnsfold shouting "Penny for the Guy"?

Bill for a good cause I'll do it. Can you arrange for the Guy to have a fly rod in his hand and be within casting distance of Beacon Lake please.

Hi Stevie

I've always thought a rive bailiff's job would be interesting. Unfortunately those type of jobs don't come available very often. Good luck with whatever you do.

However the Mickey Mouse and Goofy pattern rather give the game away.

Right. Let's get a grip on this thread. It needs to become a treasure trove of fishing wisdom and nostalgic anecdote to get those readers, unfortunate enough to reside outside the County Palatine, through the grim winter ahead.

We could start with a memo by Baz. "How to blank with dignity." or even Ged "How to tie a fly that would make even toxic evo go pale".

Careful Alban, you know what happened last time -you know, when he got the `waterproof properties of skin' bit between his teeth. You could be opening a whole new can of worms here
