    Default Fishing 4 Schools

We are holding a fund raising event at Ladybower next saturday, 23rd September.
There are still a few boats left. Room for tubes and miles of bank to fish at the moment.
As normal with these events, we are having a raffle at the Ladybower Inn afterwards. I have one of Charles Jardines prints as a raffle prize.
Could do with one of you to take a youngster out, he is 13 and has just qualified to fish for England Youth.
Anyone interested, get in touch please.

I've got a pair of thigh waders for the raffle courtesy of my mate Rimmer down in the smoke! I'm still wondering what to put in the raffle from SKB but no doubt inspiration will take hold at some point. Fishing 4 Schools is a great idea and the new (this year) Yorkshire/Derbyshire branch that Steve and I are involved with has grand plans!

Have a look on Facebook as we get things together:

This a brilliant project Rich we desperately need new blood in angling and the youngsters have a hobby for life hopefully.

The Fishing 4 Schools Yorkshire team is Geoff Smith (Ladybower Fisheries Manager), Peter Arfield (Bakewell Fishing Tackle Shop), Dave Woodhead (Coarse Fishing expert), Steve Newsome (The Blue Licer), Ben Fox and myself. We'll be putting ourselves about quite a bit in the coming months and will try and keep those of you not on Facebook posted about what we're doing on here.

I have met Paul Arfield recently in his quaint little fishing tackle shop in Bakewell.
