    Default stripping basket

I knocked this together this afternoon, a total cost of 2.30 from asda

Added some foam blocks on the side to store flies save rooting about

Still undecided to go with a belt or bungee cord

Very good, but drill some holes in it to let the water out

Nice one. Asda have been selling large, double handled rubber type baskets that are ideal to use when you're boat fishing (sorry. No picture). These are only a few quid.

I find that if anything has anything to do with FlyFishing it carries a premium. If anyone has a Home Bargains store cloe by check them out. I've had a pair of thermal Ski Socks and a complete thermal base layer for well under 20:00.

I thought about it then decided against it as I'd rather it float whilst wading rather than letting water in and causing line drag

well it looks ok. when you put it down on the bank dont forget it and stand in it. or fall back and sit in it. else you could end up with a hole new ring of confedence. good idea though.I like home made stuff. buns and jam tarts.

Ok so I tried my basket out the other day and found it has a few flaws that need sorting, firstly the bowl has nothing for the tees or foam to bite into so several tees have come away along with 2 fly patches.

To get round the fly patch I'm going to drill and cable tie them on and for the 'fingers' I'll take a trip to B+Q and look for something else though I think plaster board rawl plugs might do the trick with the splayed tags removed
