Default A morning on the river, short video...

Quite often in the summer months my weekend fishing is restricted to early mornings, just a few hours then home before midday. I sometimes go for pike with a giant gurgler but more often take the 8ft 4wt and just fish for whatever I see, this was one such morning where I managed 7 species, some of which appear in this short video:

    I hope you enjoy, cheers

    Great video, beautifully shot.
It made me want to walk out of the house and head straight for the river. Only trouble is it would be dark by the time I got there.

I really enjoyed that Graham, very nicely observed and edited, it captures a mood which any river fisher can identify.

Particularly liked the guest appearance of the sedge at 2:50 and even the balsam looks luscious.

Yes, I certainly enjoyed. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks folks, very kind, I'm glad you enjoyed.

Jerry, it is a shame when the nights start drawing in, making after work trip impossible, is it the weekend yet?

DB, the little Caddis is a star isn't he? The shot was a bit long but I had to leave him in! Mixed feelings about the balsam, I know it's not good but it reminds me of my Grandad who I remember showing me the exploding pods all those years ago, the bees seem to enjoy it too

    Cheers,
