    Default Time for Pike

I am back to what I like best, catching pike on the fly. I stick to the old tradition of 1st October.
Started of with a couple of jack's about 7 or 8lb followed by a couple of blanks.
First cold snap and the pike started to feed. More pike in the 7 to 8lb bracket. A couple of low doubles followed Last trip saw a lovely conditioned pike of 16b 8oz grace my net. 10inch jointed flies working for me. Time for Pike-img_20181101_091222-jpg

Well done Steve with the toothy critters. What's next Shark fishing on the fly?
