    I suspect you mean Caistron, not Thrunton.

    About 3 or 4 miles west of Rothbury. Unfortunately it's now closed for good. A real shame as it was, in my view, the nicest fishery in the North East. Very natural as you say.

    Notwithstanding the above, Thrunton is also good although not as natural. Still a pleasant fishery but can be busy.

    Don they are both within 15 mins of Rothbury.
