Thread: Gairloch Angling club Open day

Stayed in Gairloch for hols twice now, what a fantastic to be. Fished The Fairy Lochs and others. Love to get back up there one day, but a long way from the Isle of Wight for anything less than 3 weeks.

Last in Gairloch nearly 50 years ago!!! Nearest I've been recently was on my way to Harris. Cannot make the meeting but I have just vowed to return ASAP. Besides loch fishing, is there any river fishing for sea trout or salmon close by, Easker?

I can't swim that far, easker1, so I'll just wish you decent weather, a good turnout and a few new converts on the day.
And a few laughs, too, I'm sure.

river Ewe, Gruinard, we have a small river that the Estate looks after, the river Kerry, the Kinlochewe rivers, also Torridon has rivers, plenty to keep any one going,easker1

Am up at Dundonnell in mid April, would have been good to find out a bit about fishing in the area. Plan to spend a bit of time at Inverpolly this trip.
