    Default Foxons of St Asaph

After unfortunately breaking one of the rings on my Hardy Angel 2 top section, I had visions of either a poor repair or being stung in the pocket for a top class repair job, I no need to have worried on either account.
I took the section in to Foxons of St Asaph on monday lunch time and spoke to Renee, left the section with her and received it back today. I honestly can not tell which ring has been replaced, the job is that good. Excellent service all round
and all for the princely sum of £15.25 incl postage and packing.
Well chuffed to say the least
Better to have found fly fishing late in life, than never to have found it at all !

Only been into the shop once on my travels, but very helpful staff, good stock and competitive prices. You can't ask for much more than that

Always provided great service to me when I've visited. Renee does a fantastic job having 'saved' some of my favourite rods at very reasonable cost. Well worth a visit.

One of the very few outlets that keep a random selection of spare rod sections.
Their online spares page is always worth a look to the clumsier amongst us.

    Best regards

The fishing has been so hard lately, that even the liars aren't catching anything

I believe I'm right in saying that Renee is (or certainly was) the "official" repairer of Sage rods in the UK and built the UK Winstons with factory approval.
“There is no more lovely country than Monmouthshire in early spring. Nowhere do the larks sing quite so passionately, as if somehow inspired by the Welsh themselves. There is a blackbird on every thorn and a cock chaffinch, a twink as they call him there, on every bush...... It moved me profoundly. I had been spared to see another spring, and I thank God for it.”
