  Diver Dave waders

There are many good dealers one can do business with. What sorts the good from the excellent is when, for whatever reason, something goes wrong, and how it is dealt with.

Must say that Diver Dave has shown himself to be in the excellent category. Good bloke to deal with.

I do all my own repairs as well... 'tis easy enough.
Rather than using the bath I just turn them inside out spray with isopropyl ( https://www.maplin.co.uk/p/servisol-...ol-200ml-re87u - you can buy by the litre as well but I just find the can easier), where there is a leak you get little black marks as the alcohol evaporates off, mark them with a pen or chalk and then apply aquasure. Takes minutes.... I can turn the whole process around over night so it doesn't interfere with fishing
I currently have a small leak, just tried repairing the second time, if it isn't cured this time it must be in the neoprene boot. So I'll use the bath, but turn them inside out first, part fill with water and mark any leak. Turn them to dry and then back inside out and use a neoprene patch.
certainly for pin ***** leaks it couldn't be easier to repair waders.

Yes agreed the isopropyl method is quicker and less messy. I tend to use what I've got around me if I think it will do the job. Some people would call that being tight

We all make choices... isopropyl outside rather than waders in the bath keeps my better half happy

I'm in the category of 'never again'.
Diver Dave had my Patagonia Rio Gallegos that had gone porous around the crutch. He telephoned me to ask me about the work I wanted, and said in passing, 'I'll retape the seams for you as well for an extra few quid'
Like earlier poster, I'm a fit guy and really struggled to get my foot into the sock part as the seam around the ankle is far too tight, and as for getting them off, - I had to have someone really dragging to get them off. Only tried them twice and gave up, - they're somewhere in the garage now.

Only used his services once, but they leaked again a month later?
Surprised Dave hasn't come on to defend himself.
