What's not to like about them or the superb service? Answers on a pin-head please...

I purchased my first Barrio line about 3 weeks ago, GT90 #5WF and teamed it up with a Sage 590RPL. Outstanding line and combination. All my lines going forward will be Barrio.

I ordered three lines from Barrios last week and got an 'Order Dispatched' email within one hour! The lines arrived the very next day.

These three are not for me but I've loaded them onto reels for a colleague and, as always, was impressed with how slick, supple and memory-free they are. The inexperienced recipient really doesn't know how lucky he is!

Ordered a Barrio Smallstream 2wt yesterday morning. Shortly after an email arrived stating it was on it's way. 11am this morning it dropped through the letterbox. Can't get better service than that

I bought the GT90 WF #6 for my Sonik SK3 9' and am very pleased with both the line and the service I received from Mike Barrio. I will shortly order the Smallstream #4 for my brook rod. Unlike some manufacturers Barrio offer excellent communication, help and advice. Job well done!

I wasn't that impressed with my WF #3 Barrio smallstream other than its shooting quality which made it ideal for fishing dries on lakes.

I found my line to be springy rather than supple and it had obvious memory issues.

It cracked really badly after two seasons, that is the core was exposed by the annular cracks in the coating which caused it to sink, similar to a Cortland 444 in that respect although he 444 takes longer to get to that point of disrepair.

I've replaced it with a Rio Classic floater this season which I prefer although its bright yellow colour concerns me, I did like the tan finish on the Barrios.
