    Copper head flash PT, size 16 Fulling Mill Jig Force Hook, 2.5 & 3mm Tungsten Beads, Mylar flash, Pheasant tail body and tail, Copper BR rib and hares ear/squirrel dub

    I'm not surprised they're one of your more successful river flies.For want of a better expression they are "the business".Nice tying and proportions.

    Nice fly Dave.

    I've read a couple of articles about placing the mylar flash on the sides of the thorax on jig hooks but I've never got round to trying it myself. Do you find that you've had more hook-ups tying it that way?
