Default Given up tricky ties....

I think I must be naturally lazy... Iíve come to realise I like simple, quick ties that look like nuffin and cover everything...
So, getting ready for the new season...

Probably 3 or 4 dry patterns to tie up and that should cover it

It does make life more simple...
Iíll tie up some griffiths, f-flies and a few deer hair sedges, plus a couple of parachute / klinks for rougher water and duo...

Iím not brave enough to fish with just two patterns Stephen.... when my presentation goes to hell I need to be able to change and blame the fly rather than my own ineptitude...

The bodies are just turkey biots, I use them loads, you can get them in a huge range of colours.... but mostly I use drab browns and olives

I thought they were, I have some, but I canít seem to master them yet.
Iím just trying to use some stripped quill that Rich kindly sent me, but Iím all thumbs today.
It all looks so easy when I watch Davie McPhail.
