Default Dixon Fly & Silver Rover.

Tied this Dixon fly (size 2/0) a day or so ago which is from Veniard although there is another version from Hardy. The wing was put on all in one lump including the Wood Duck, Bronze Mallard & Gallina (the more mottled Guinea Fowl feather rather than spotted). It's a technique worth working at as it saves a lot of bother tying stuff in post main wing. Also another small Silver Rover at size #3. Managed to track down the other version of the Silver Rover so will hopefully post a pic of it when it's complete.

Tag - oval gold tinsel & yellow floss.
    Tail - GP topping.
    Butt - Ostrich herl.
Body - two turns light orange floss, rest light orange wool (seal's fur used as an alternative).
    Hackle - claret cock hackle.
Ribs - oval gold tinsel & black floss.
    Throat - Gallina.
Wings - Bustard, Peacock Wing, GP tail, Goose dyed red, yellow, blue, Barred Wood Duck, Gallina, Bronze Mallard & GP topping over.

    (Dressing as previous Silver Rover).

    Thanks for looking.

    cheers
