    Well, we have the cheap rods/expensive rods thread so.. How about scissors? I'll start it off with these...

    i dont usually shop in the beauty section of e bay ,as its designed for hairdressing and not flytying, ill give it a skip
    this time .but should the need arise to cut the thread finer ill buy a cnc machine for precision Cheap scissors??-cnc_milling_big-jpg

    or something similar

    Interesting post, but I donít think I could spend that on scissors, imagine dropping them point first on a hard floor.
    I bought these six years ago, and Iíve recommended them many times on here, I donít know of anything that that cuts as well.

    My most recent scissor acquisition came free when I was in hospital in November thanks to the one use/one patient rule. They gave me the dressing scissors they used to cut tape for a dressing. Thank you taxpayers one and all.

    Don't you know?, it's not the scissors or the CNC machine, it's the person operating/programming them that makes the difference.

    Craft knife (honed) for most things, especially for cutting the thread without removing half the hackle.
