    Default Duncan's Favourite Fly

I'm looking for the above tying pattern. It was mentioned in a small booklet "Lake Fishing" by W.J. Cummins (of Bishop Auckland)
It is a Dry Fly "deadly for sea trout and browns both in streams and lakes". They were sold in his shop at 4 shillings a dozen ! in eyed hooks sizes No 13, 12, 11. old scale (No 2, 3, 4. new scale).
I am presuming from the 1950's. I would like the pattern so as to try them out.
    Thanks
    Eddie

Had a look in the trout dictionary and veniards, nothing there.

    Cammy
Thanks for looking, should have mentioned that I have tried most of the "normal" references, including the FDG website, but can find no trace of it. I would think it was specific to Cummins fishing shop in Bishop Auckland. He did write a few books, but no pattern found in the two I have access to.
    Thanks again

I had wondered if it may well have been a "local" pattern.
