    Hi guys,

I put this together for another forum I post on to try and demonstrate how simple it can be to tie a reallyeffective fly and encourage some of the newbies

Nicely done, and well explained. The tip to pull tight on taking the thread up the way when tying in the foam will be helpful for me. Keep them coming.

    Thanks guys,

Loopy, the technique of pulling up after a pinch and loop helps keep any of the materials on the top of the hook. Works great when winging wets.

When I say that I'm not great with wings and could do with more practice, but they do tend to stay were i put them

Have you tried that pattern on stillwater ?

Would it support a buzzer fished NZ style ?

    Thanks

I fish mainly still waters and it works great.

I am not sure it would take a buzzer new zealand style as I haven't tried it but if you do let us know how it works out
