    Default bibio thing !

Some of you might already tie this but i tought i'd have a go at doing a Step - By - Step,
This Pattern Has Been very succseful for even though my tying is not that good,

    Here it is,

Hook: Wet Fly - Size 16
    Thread: Sparton Pro - Red
    Hackle: Chineese neck - Black

    1. Wind the thread on to the hook,

    2. Catch in The Hackle

    3. Palmer the Hackle

    4. Wind the Thread Half Way Up The hook Towards The Eye, And "Create" "The Red Bit"

    5. Wind Up To The Eye And Whip Finnish.

    The Finnished fly

Well done Barclay mate, you have made a good start here, and I am sure that you will post more Sby S in days to come. Nice one.

good step by step. One comment would be to use hackles of a length to match the gape of the hook, your palmering is good but the hackle is too long,

    Oliver,

if you tie hackles in line there is a tendency for the stalk to crack or break. If you want them to stand up better from the first turn, tie them in at 45 degrees with the stalk towards the eye and the hackle above the body, that way you can get them to turn on easier.

I know that this is your first SBS and that you will improve from here so keep up the good work.
