    Dub on some Black Seals Fur - i have used a sub because i dont have any real stuff left

    Wind up your dubbed fur to make the body

    make the fly more secure by winding your rib in nice open turns

    now for the part that sticks!!!
    put the vice upsides-down (you know what i mean) and tie in a throat hackle of blue guinea fowl or blue jay

    Now for the wing. Take a bunch of bronze mallard - i didnt have any so i used teal dyed brown
    Tie in the wing

    Whip Finish and Varnish and there you go

    please comment, thanks

    Do use jay if you can,I catch much better with the real thing ,done the dyed grizzle,guinea fowl even hair hackles and the jay just works much better !

    Sorry!

    I *think* I've just altered the setting to allow up to 20 images per message.

    Cheers,

    Thanks Invicta

    ACW,

    i use blue jay when i can as i feel that guinea fowl - while a good sub doesnt seem quite right.

    cheers;
