    Default Wojo

Another fly from my OJO (organza just organza) series. This one is tied by weaving light and dark colours of stripped organza ribbon to produce a nymph with a segmented body which is dark on top and light underneath. Organza ribbon is available in a wide range of colours so the pattern can be adapted to imitate nymphs of mayflies, sedges and other insects. Thanks for watching.

I'm sure it will catch plenty, organza is just nails down the blackboard stuff for me

I thought you might have done Polish style of weaving there Nick, that's far simpler.

Each to his/her own. It could be tied with ostrich herl; and have a half-life of five minutes......

Yeah, I tried that; it's too much of a faff for me and it ends up looking the same anyway.

It certainly perked my interest Nick.
I gave up the weaving after doing a Polish weave using a jig hook and bead. Forgot the hook fished upside down so dark and light became back to front, so to say.

Tried to buy some organza today but not sure what it is? Looking for tan, white and pink.

SteveN, I just bought Ivory. It takes permanent markers very well.
It comes in different widths as well as colours (if you want).
