    Nice looking fly Simmo. I have never used B175's for hoppers before, but on seeing this one, I I will have to give them a try.

    I used to use lighter hooks but was a bit over enthusiastic and often got the hooks straightened. The B175 eliminates this problem and the hackle is so bushy that there is not a problem with the fly sinking if you wish to fish it dry. I treat the end of my fly line with water shed and gink up the braided loop this also helps to keep the whole thing up.
