    I always thought a hopper had to have legs, interesting profile though. Is it an out and out sedge imitation Scotfly and have you tried it with legs?

    Not that one Obadiah, don't why it hasn't got legs. Perhaps one of our American tyros can give us a bit of history on the fly and why it's called a hopper but looks like a sedge.
