About all I'd use the things for... or as an earring

Gazzaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, Chuck it out as far as you's can and pull it back as fast as you's can, if that doesn't work try pulling it back slower, if that doesn't work try figure of eight. If all that doesn't work you's can try a combination of all three, like two fast pulls one slow pull three or four figure of eights a couple of fast pull again, but don't forger to stop when you's hook get to the rod tip
But watch those fish, crafty little buggers they are, just when you think you's cracked it on the fast pull, they'll go and want it slow like.

Well tied Scotfly - u have obviously practiced that one

A friend of mine showed me his latest box of tricks at the weekend. Such was the intensity of the colours I am still suffering from blurred vision.
No doubt he has been purchasing from Daver or Artifly.

The secret of fishing blobs is to pretend Highlander is hiding in the bushes with a double barrel shotgun waiting to nail any blobites. That will ensure good fish enticing " very erratic" retrieves, quick playing and returning of fish.
