A small emerger pattern I hpe you find it of some use.

Very nice, I use something similar but more basic quite a lot, also with a black foam head. A very effective general type of pattern on stillwaters rainbows as much as river brownies. I'll remember that tying though, thanks (although I might use a different rib material)

Good one, Simmo. Hadn't thought of using either aero wing instead of deer hair or peacock quill as a rib.

Thanks for the comments guys the ribs often go but if you get a couple of fish its served its purpose. I have tried a little bit of varnish on the quill but it seems to make them brittle and less easy to tie with.
