Question Fishing in the peak district

I`m after some info

i`m spending a weekend in the Peak District in June and i`m planning to do a couple of days river fishing , can anyone suggest any good day ticket beats on rivers , big or small , I will be staying near Ashbourne ?

If you look at the tackling cancer thread, there is a lot available with your name all over it. A days fishing on The River Dove! Seek and ye shall find.

Pop into the Fly Fishing Shop in Bakewell and Pete Arfield will sort you out with day tickets for a goodly number of beats.

If you can get a ticket, try the Peacock at Rowsley for a day on the Haddon Estate's 7 miles plus of the Derbyshire Wye. It's the best dry fly fishing in England and it is where it all started.
