the shopping experience is difficult to resist but arriving bankside decked out with one of the waistcoats jangling like a shop counter is too embarrasing to bear.

But mind....I'll need a casting lesson as well cos I struggle to lift my existing inter off once it has sunk (only ever used it once to try it out mind). So, if Vision do a rod, what are their reels like; they look nice in black but I fancied a silver one.....
oh dont forget a line basket for fishing your intermediate, but seriously this may help that sinking problem, i have 1 that folds flat when not in use.

Fly tying materials, I need whatever so look on line. Then you see, I could do with that, I haven't got any in that colour, that looks useful.

I've got all the tackle for every situation! Now thats a situation I don't have any tackle for! I could do with that tackle in case of such a situation!

Default Great question FC, great question.

And one of the reasons I leave my wallet/credit card on the kitchen counter not in my back pocket. I AM UNDER CONTROL!! Like hell

And what comes in yesterdays mail, the new Angler's Workshop "Special Edition" catalog. One Hundred Seventy Five pages of any thing you could ever dream up. Page after page of fishing rod 'blanks,' guides, turning wrapping equipment, cork, fly lines/reels/, reels, flies, and ... and and.

Whole thing done in colour an slick paper; this thing must have cost a small fortune to put together, print and distribute.

And my wallet is still on the counter top half a house away.

RESIST FRED! RESIST!!

For those of you not made of 'sterner stuff:' http://www.anglersworkshop.com/

Default More than satisfied!

Partner = twenty years younger than me.
Tackle = WF8, one piece, stiff as a board, rod is 59 years old and a classic.
Summertime = the only time of year
Downside = waiting for the lottery win

Haha.....A massive bush trout ate my last 4 Cats last night so I'll have to pop down to John Norris' to replace them (have you ever been in their fly selection!!!!!!!!) That will leave me at best 25 lighter and if he's got a nice little Vision in.........well, I'm screwed.
And no, I won't order on-line, 'cos I WANT THEM NOW!!!!!! (just in case there's a brownie under the bush in my drive when i get home..................

You'll also need a 10 ft 7/8 for chucking lures on Ressies, a 10.5ft4wt for boat work and an 11ft 3wt for Czech Nymphing.
You're bound to want to chuck some fluff at pike sooner or later so you'll need a 9.5ft 10wt.
And your 7ft is a bit big for small streams, a 6ft would be useful.
Now, reels...............
Sorry to have to say this....but I've got a 10' 6/7# for rezzies, a lovely 10' 8# for the pike/bass and mullet and an old Kassnar of indeterminate rating which can!!! be used for worming..........oh dear.
