    About 75

Try them both and wonder if the difference is worth 75.

I was very interested in the 9' Fario for trout but after waving one around I decided the action was too fast/stiff and the handle was fractionally too chunky for my taste/feel. It's a quality piece of kit though and you may love it - I'm just saying do your darndest to try before you buy because of all the fishing gear you buy your rod is the most personal. I tried the LXPE too and it seemed to have a similar feel, but honestly I wasn't long enough on either to make an informed call.

Reel-wise I have a Vosseler DC2 3/4wt that is super-light, built like a tank and looks great - would grace any quality rod.
All my tackle is more expensive than it needs to be to catch fish.

Gaz, have replied to your PM.

I'm a BIG Guideline fan and love their style and quality. The LPXE 4 wt is a super rod, and its 5 weight brother won an award a few years ago in a group test so its from good stock!

Also agree with Doc re the DC2 3/4. I have the same - top gear and NOT heavy, when put on a rod. Unfortunately the drag is jammed on mine at the mo - goddam Germans cant make sh1te!
